Fiona Greville Headteacher   Outstanding Results for our A/AS Level Pupils Once then Year 12 and 13 pupils at Llantwit Major School were triumphal without achieving an outstanding set of results. 25% of all results at A level excluding WBQ were at A*-A grade and nearly all Year 13 pupils achieved places on their chosen courses in their first nomination universities and are looking forward to commencing their stratum courses.   Amongst the students receiving outstanding results at both AS and A level  were:- Sam Williams 4 A*’s Kristian Reed Spargo 3A*’s and 1 A Rhys Richards-1 A* and 3 A’s Dylan Johnston- 1 A*, 2 A’s and 1 B Tom Colgan 3 A’s Grace Bennion- 2 A’s and 1 B Ben Burrows-2 A’s and 1 B Elys Greene- 2A’s and 2 B’s Calum Robinson - 1A*,1A, 1B, 1C Lewis Kordell  - 3 A’s Iwan Robinson Booth - 2 A’s and 1B Ashim Sundas  - 2A’s and 2 B’s   Congratulations to our GCSE Students! Students in year 10 and 11 at Llantwit Major School are yet then triumphal achieving some unrenowned GCSE results. Following the unfurled review by Welsh Government of qualifications for 14 – 19 year olds, these two cohorts of students are the first to undertake the new suite of GCSE qualifications in Wales which include the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification. We are proud of the fact that 100% of our year 11 students achieved the Level 1 measure. This new measure is the percentage of students that achieved 5 or increasingly passes at A*-G, with at least 3 of these passes stuff in GCSE qualifications.
